The Healthy Community Network (HCN) is a 501c3 non-profit, tax-exempt entity that was created to promote a healthy way of living within the community of Palmyra.  It is about Food (includes cooking classes, distribution), Funding (fundraising, donations), Community (follow-up with businesses and community members, organize events, compile initiatives), and Education and Resources (answers to questions, gives direction).

The HCN sets provisions for the entire community which includes the needy, ill, senior, youth and infant populations. We meet the needs of the community without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, disability or sexual preference. Every Healthy Community Network initiative takes a “client choice” approach, which provides dignity and shows respect for others. HCN is not standardized, as no two people are alike. We think about what others want and we strive to gain a better knowledge of our community each day.
